Designed to replace an aging boat-house, (and to leave the pier-house intact), these twinned pavilions provided public arrival/service functions, classroom space, and boat storage.

The architecture continues the wood clad tradition of the original boat house, while providing maximum indoor-outdoor connection and internal daylighting.  A durable over-hanging zinc roof provides a long-term resistance to the coastal weather.
